The Edmonton Oilers have signed free agent defenceman Jason Garrison to a professional tryout.
Garrison appeared in eight games for the Vegas Golden Knights last season, recording one assist. He was selected by Vegas in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The 33-year-old has appeared in 538 NHL regular season games over 10 seasons, suiting up for Florida, Vancouver, Tampa Bay and Vegas. Garrison has 48 goals and 111 assists to his name over that time.
