The Edmonton Oilers have signed forwards Kyle Brodziak to a two-year, $2.3 million deal and Tobias Rieder to a one-year, $2 million deal.
Brodziak, 34, netted 10 goals and 23 assists in his 81-game campaign with the St. Louis Blues in 2017-2018.
Selected in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers, the 13-year NHL vet has put up 123 goals and 164 assists over 847 career games with the Oilers, Minnesota Wild and Blues. His best season came in 2011-2012 where he racked in 44 points (22 G, 22 A) with the Wild.
Brodziak is coming off a two-year, $1.9 million contract.
Rieder scored 12 goals and 13 assists over 78 games split between the Los Angeles Kings and Arizona Coyotes in 2017-18. Arizona traded Rieder and goalie Scott Wedgewood to Los Angeles for goalie Darcy Kuemper on Feb. 21. He is coming off a two-year, $4.45 million contract.
The 25-year-old from Germany was selected by the Coyotes in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
Rieder has 55 goals and 62 assists over 312 career games with the Coyotes and Kings.
