Vancouver Whitecaps Canadian midfielder Alphonso Davies has been named to the 2018 MLS All-Star team that will face Juventus at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The 17-year-old was added to the team as a commissioner selection, one of two players picked by Don Garber to join the squad.
Davies would be the fourth youngest player to appear in an MLS All-Star Game. He has made 17 appearances for the Whitecaps in 2018, including 14 starts.
Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco has been named to the All-Star team for the fourth consecutive season and will face his former club in the game.
The 31-year-old has seven goals and 10 assists for Toronto FC in 20 games this season across all competitions.
The Montreal Impact will be represented in Atlanta by Ignacio Piatti who is heading to the All-Star game for the third consecutive season.
"I'm very happy to be selected for my third MLS All-Star game," said Piatti in a release. "It's great to be a part of this game and spend time with some of the best players in the league. I would like to thank my teammates because we are a team, and without them I wouldn't be able to go."
Piatti has eight goals and six assists in 15 starts this season for the Impact.
