{allcanada} Jets acquire Kerdiles from Ducks for De Leo

 
The Winnipeg Jets have acquired forward Nicolas Kerdiles from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Chase De Leo.

Kerdiles appeared in two games last season for the Ducks at the NHL level and 49 games for their AHL affiliate the San Diego Gulls.  He scored 15 goals and added 19 assists with 34 penalty minutes at the AHL level.

The Lewisville, Texas native was selected in the second round, 36th overall of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Ducks.

De Leo last appeared in the NHL in 2015-16 when he played two games for the Jets.  Last season he played 69 games with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL and posted 35 points, including 12 goals.

The 22-year-old was taken 99th overall in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Jets.
