HAMILTON — The Hamilton Golf and Country Club will host the PGA Tour's Canadian Open in 2019 and 2023.

Golf Canada made the announcement on Wednesday, confirming the club will be the site for the event for the first time since 2012.

The tournament has been at Hamilton five times, first in 1919.

Specific dates for the 2019 event have not been released.

The 2018 Canadian Open will be at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ont, July 26-29.
