HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed offensive lineman Darius Ciraco, one of their two first-round draft picks.

Hamilton selected Ciraco, 22, sixth overall in the 2018 CFL draft after taking receiver Mark Chapman first overall.

Chapman is the lone 2018 Ticats draft pick yet to sign.

The six-foot, 292-pound Ciraco, a native of Burlington, Ont., played 28 regular-season games at the University of Calgary from 2014-17.

Ciraco was a 2015 Canada West all-star and second-team all-Canadian.

Hamilton also signed American offensive lineman Ryan Schmidt, who spent time last season on the Ottawa Redblacks' practice roster.
