The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo to a two-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Tuesday.

The contract comes with average annual value of $675,000 in the NHL.

Kaskisuo split the 2017-18 season between the AHL's Chicago Wolves and Toronto Marlies, while also playing a pair of games with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. He started one game for the Marlies this past season, stopping 26 of 27 shots in a 2-1 victory over Springfield, before being loaned to the Wolves in late October. With Chicago, Kaskisuo posted a record of 13-13-2 with a 2.38 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.

In 38 career AHL games with the Marlies and Wolves, Kaskisuo is 20-14-3 with a 2.25 GAA and a .918 save percentage. He has also appeared in 10 career Calder Cup playoff games with the Marlies in 2017 and went 5-3 with a 2.66 GAA and a .892 save percentage.

Kaskisuo was originally signed to a two-year entry-level deal by the Maple Leafs on March 2016.
