Here are the Stanley Cup Playoff scenarios for March 29.

The San Jose Sharks will clinch a berth:

* If they defeat the Nashville Predators (8 p.m. ET; FS-TN. NBCSCA, NHL.TV) in any fashion.

OR

* If they get one point against the Predators AND the Los Angeles Kings lose to the Arizona Coyotes (10:30 p.m. ET: PRIME, FS-A PLUS, NHL.TV) in regulation.

The Toronto Maple Leafs (idle) will clinch a playoff berth if either of the following occurs:

* The Florida Panthers lose to the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m. ET: RDS, TSN5, FS-F, NHL.TV) in any fashion

* The New Jersey Devils lose to the Pittsburgh Penguins (7 p.m. ET; MSG+, ATTSN-PT, NHL.TV) in regulation

The Washington Capitals (idle) will clinch a playoff berth if any of the following occurs:

* The Florida Panthers lose to the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m. ET: RDS, TSN5, FS-F, NHL.TV) in any fashion, or if the Panthers defeat the Senators in a shootout

* The New Jersey Devils lose to the Pittsburgh Penguins (7 p.m. ET; MSG+, ATTSN-PT, NHL.TV) in any fashion

* The Columbus Blue Jackets lose to the Calgary Flames (9 p.m. ET; SNW, FS-O, NHL.TV) in regulation
