Hip-hop superstars Drake and Future have been dismissed without prejudice from a $25 million (£18 million) rape lawsuit.
The rappers were named as co-defendants in the August 2017 suit, filed by a female fan who claimed she had been sexually assaulted while attending their joint Summer Sixteen Tour show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee in 2016.
The 28-year-old woman, identified in legal papers only as Jane Doe, alleges she was approached by a man working security at the venue and invited backstage to meet Drake and Future, but instead of being taken to hang out with the Jumpman collaborators, suspect Leavy Johnson reportedly forced himself on her.
The plaintiff sued venue bosses, security officials, tour promoters, and the two artists, insisting Johnson should never have been hired as he had outstanding warrants for previous assaults at the time of the alleged attack.
She also claimed attendees had been put in danger by the fact Johnson was working at the show.
The case is still ongoing, but court documents obtained by TheBlast.com reveal Drake and Future have since been removed as defendants from the legal dispute.
After the alleged incident, Johnson was arrested and charged with rape. He is currently awaiting trial, according to The Tennessean.
