CHARLOTTETOWN — Brendon Clavelle put away the winner at the 14:23 mark of the third period as the Charlottetown Islanders toppled the Quebec Remparts 3-1 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action.
Charlottetown now leads the first-round series 3-2.
Nikita Alexandrov and Keith Getson also scored for the Islanders, while Matthew Welsh made 41 saves.
Jesse Sutton scored for the Remparts and Antoine Samuel turned aside 30 shots.
Charlottetown went 1 for 3 on the power play and Quebec could not score on its four man advantages.
