Loui Eriksson of the Vancouver Canucks will miss the rest of the season with a fractured rib.
The forward left late in the third period of a 3-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday after a hit from Coyotes center Max Domi. He has 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 50 games this season and 47 points (21 goals, 26 assists) in 115 games with the Canucks. Eriksson, 32, signed a six-year contract July 1, 2016.
The Canucks (24-32-8) are seventh in the Pacific Division and 18 points behind the Anaheim Ducks for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference. They host the Nashville Predators at Rogers Arena on Friday (10 p.m. ET; SNP, FS-TN, NHL.TV).
