Hedley has been sent packing by their management team, dozens of radio stations have stopped playing their music and they're no longer a part of next month's Juno Awards.
And now things are looking worse.
CBC News reported Sunday night that a 24-year-old Ottawa woman is accusing Jacob Hoggard, the frontman for the pop rockers, of sexual assault.
The woman told CBC that the relationship developed in the fall of 2016 after the two became connected on the dating app Tinder.
She decided to speak out after allegations of sexual misconduct were made against the band earlier this month.
Through a letter from his lawyer, Hoggard acknowledged he had sex with the woman, but says it was consensual.
The woman says that after flirting over text, she arrived in Toronto to meet Hoggard in person in November, 2016.
"Of course, I expected sex," she told CBC. "I wasn't going to Toronto to watch TV with someone I barely know. I'm not naive — but he completely crossed the line."
But she alleges that when they met, Hoggard demeaned her and "forced her to have anal sex" in a Toronto hotel.
"I can still to this day picture his face and how scary he looked and how scared I was," she said.
CBC could not independently verify what happened in the room, but corroborated elements of the complainant's story.
Hedley called separate sexual misconduct allegations against the band "unsubstantiated" in a statement earlier this month.
The band is currently in the midst of a cross-Canada tour.
