Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan will miss Saturday's game against the Florida Panthers after injuring his finger Thursday against the Lighting.
Ryan only took one shift in the third period on Thursday. He missed eight games earlier in the season with a broken finger and returned to the lineup on Nov. 16. It's unclear if he injured the same finger Thursday, but according to the Ottawa Sun, Senators head coach Guy Boucher said that his finger is not broken this time.
Ryan has four goals and 13 points in 25 games this season including a goal against the Lightning before he was injured.
The Senators also could be without forward Zack Smith for up to two weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury Thursday. To fill in for the injured players, Ottawa recalled forward Chris DiDomenico from AHL Belleville on Friday.
