The Edmonton Oilers have placed defenceman Oscar Klefbom on injured reserve and have recalled forward Anton Slepyshev from the AHL.
Klefbom played 19:41 in Monday's win over San Jose and coach Todd McLellan said he's been "playing sore and hurt for a while."
The team is expecting defenceman Andrej Sekera back soon though, and has also placed forward Nathan Walker on waivers.
Slepyshev has one goal and two assists in 15 games with Edmonton this season.
