The Calgary Flames have recalled forward Andrew Magiapane and have placed Michael Frolik on injured reserve.
Folik will miss weeks after breaking his jaw during Thursday's loss to the San Jose Sharks.
The 29-year-old was hit in the face with a puck and underwent surgery on Saturday.
Mangiapane has 14 goals and 33 points in 29 games with the AHL's Stockton Heat this season.
Calgary drafted the 21-year-old in the sixth round (166th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
