The Ottawa Senators have reportedly informed defenceman Cody Ceci that he will be among their protected players. With Dion Phaneuf unwilling to waive his no-movement clause, this would suggest that GM Pierre Dorion will expose Marc Methot to Vegas, unless he can move Phaneuf via trade.
