{allcanada} Edmonton Oilers re-sign Eric Gryba to two-year contract

The Edmonton Oilers and Eric Gryba have agreed to terms on a new two-year deal.

Gryba will earn a total of $1.8 million over the contract for a cap hit of $900,000. The 29-year-old defenceman would have been an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Edmonton originally acquired Gryba from the Ottawa Senators in June of 2015 for Travis Ewanyk and the 107th pick in the 2015 draft. Gryba has 12 points in 93 games with the Oilers over the past two seasons and averaged 16:08 of ice time this past season.
