7:30 p.m. ET; SUN, RDS2, TSN5, NHL.TV
Senators team scope
Goaltender Mike Condon is expected to start for the Ottawa Senators, who are two points behind the Montreal Canadiens for first place in the Atlantic Division after a 2-1 win against the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Condon had 19 saves in a 5-2 win at the Lightning on Feb. 2. The Senators are 2-1-0 on their four-game road trip. Forward Curtis Lazar did not play Sunday because of an upper-body injury. Backup goalie Andrew Hammond, who played his last NHL game Feb. 7, will miss the rest of the season because of a torn labrum in his right hip.
Lightning team scope
The Lightning traded center Brian Boyle to the Toronto Maple Leafs for forward Byron Froese and a conditional second-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft on Monday. Boyle, who has 22 points (13 goals, nine assists) in 54 games, will likely be replaced by Adam Erne in the lineup. The trade came a day after the Lightning traded goaltender Ben Bishop and a fifth-round pick in 2017 to the Los Angeles Kings for goalie Peter Budaj, defenseman Erik Cernak and two 2017 draft picks -- a seventh-rounder and a conditional pick. After posting a 5-1-2 record against Western Conference opponents in the past eight games, the Lightning will have 18 of their final 22 games against Eastern Conference opponents. Coach Jon Cooper said it's the final chance to gain some ground in the standings. The Lightning are seven points behind the Toronto Maple Leafs for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference. Budaj is expected to serve as the backup for Andrei Vasilevskiy on Monday. Forward Jonathan Drouin, who missed a game Thursday with the flu, is expected to return to the lineup. The Lightning also claimed center Greg McKegg from the Florida Panthers on Monday. McKegg has three goals and three assists in 31 games this season.
