The Toronto Raptors were dealt a tough blow on Monday as the team revealed that point guard Kyle Lowry will have wrist surgery Tuesday morning to remove loose bodies.

The Raptors do not list a timetable for Lowry's return, but are hopeful to have the All-Star back for the playoffs.

Sources tell The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski that Lowry could return in four-to-five weeks.

Lowry, who was apparently injured before the All-Star break, played in the showcase unaware of just how serious the injury was. Lowry had not played in the Raptors last two contests.

Lowry, 30, is averaging 22.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.9 assists this season over 56 games, his fifth season in Toronto.
