HAMILTON — Matthew Strome and Michael Cramarossa both scored in the shootout as the Hamilton Bulldogs blew an early lead but recovered for a 3-2 win over the Flint Firebirds on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Trent Fox and Luke Kutkevicius both scored in the first as Hamilton (13-9-3) took a 2-0 lead by the 11:59 mark of the first period.

Nicholas Caamano replied for Flint (13-10-2) with five seconds left in the first, then Jacob Collins tied it 2-2 in the third to force overtime.

Kaden Fulcher made 30 saves in net for the Bulldogs and turned away two skaters in the shootout for the win. Connor Hicks stopped 21 shots for the Firebirds.

Hamilton didn't score on its five power plays and Flint went 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

OTTAWA — Sasha Chmelevski's 14th goal of the season was the winner and Patrick White added some insurance as the 67's downed Sarnia.

Carter Robertson, Artur Tyanulin and Tye Felhaber also scored for Ottawa (12-12-2).

Troy Lajeunesse, Adam Ruzicka and Ryan McGregor replied for the Sting (13-10-3).

KNIGHTS 5 STORM 3

GUELPH, Ont. — Olli Juolevi and Cliff Pu scored in the third period to power London past the Storm.

Robert Thomas and Adrian Carbonara had goals 38 seconds apart to end the second period as the Knights (18-3-4) continued their nine-game point streak. Janne Kuokkanen also found the back of the net in the second.

Givani Smith had a hat trick for Guelph (9-13-3).

ERIE, Pa. — Alex DeBrincat scored twice and Dylan Strome added three assists as the Otters marched past North Bay.

Kyle Pettit had the power-play winner — which both DeBrincat and Strome assisted on — for Erie (18-5-2) early in the third. Ivan Lodnia added some insurance with a goal of his own.

Brett McKenzie and Jacob Ball supplied the offence for the Battalion (13-11-2).

SAGINAW, Mich. — Joseph Garreffa, Greg Meireles and Adam Mascherin all scored in the third period to power Kitchener past the Spirit.

Mason Kohn opened scoring in the first for the Rangers (16-8-1).

BARRIE, Ont. — Oliver Castleman had the eventual winner in the first as Niagara jumped out to an early lead and never looked back against the Colts.

Ben Jones, Ryan Mantha, Akil Thomas and Matthew Philip also scored as the IceDogs (9-10-5) built a 5-0 lead.

Cordell James had the only goal for Barrie (8-15-3).

ATTACK 5 STEELHEADS 3

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Jonah Gadjovich scored and added three assists to lead the Attack against Mississauga.

Jacob Friend had the power-play winner early in the third period for Owen Sound (15-11-1), while Matthew Struthers, Nick Suzuki and Kevin Hancock added singles.

Aidan McFarland scored shorthanded for the Steelheads (6-11-6), who also got goals from Michael McLeod and Brendan Harrogate.
