The Vancouver Canucks have assigned defencemen Troy Stecher and Tom Nilsson to AHL Utica.
Stecher signed with the Canucks in the off-season after winning a national championship with the University of North Dakota in 2015 as the team's highest scoring blueliner, with 29 points in 43 games.
He had one assist in four games with Utica before being recalled for a three-game stint with the Canucks.
Nilsson was brought to Vancouver on a one-year, two-way contract after the 23-year-old put up seven points in 37 games with Frolunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League.
He was originally a fourth-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2011.
