OKOTOKS, Alta. — Sweden's Anna Hasselborg remained perfect at the Masters Grand Slam of Curling with a 7-5 win over Tracy Fleury of Sudbury, Ont., in Draw 7 action on Thursday.

Hasselborg improved to 3-0 with the win,

The Swede opened with two points in the first end and a steal of one in the second, only to see Fleury lay three in the third to tie it.

Hasselborg quickly regained control of the match, scoring one in the fourth and stealing a pair in the fifth.

Fleury fell to 1-1.

Meanwhile, South Korea's EunJung Kim (2-0) scored three in the fourth end and followed with steals of two, one and one in an 8-2 rout of Edmonton's Kelsey Rocque (1-2).

Switzerland's Alina Paetz (1-2) needed a steal in the eighth end to squeak to a 6-5 win over Scotland's Eve Muirhead (0-2).

In men's action, Team Gushue (2-0), led by Mark Nichols, downed Brad Jacobs (2-1) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., 5-4 with a point in the eighth end.

Reid Carruthers (2-1) scored three in the seventh end in a 7-5 victory over fellow Winnipeg native Mike McEwen (1-1).

Two more draws were scheduled for later Thursday.
