TORONTO — Receiver Chris Williams and quarterback Trevor Harris of the Ottawa Redblacks and Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly were named the CFL's top performers for July on Wednesday.

Williams and Harris were a dynamic duo for Ottawa, which opened the season with a 3-0-1 record. Williams had 25 catches for 493 yards and six TDs over the Redblacks' first three games and is currently second in CFL receiving with 38 receptions for 625 yards and the six touchdowns.

Harris replaced an injured Henry Burris and rallied Ottawa to a season-opening 45-37 overtime win over Edmonton. His first completion with the Redblacks was a 71-yard TD strike to Williams.

Harris, currently sidelined with knee and ankle injuries, is fourth overall among CFL passers with 1,499 yards and nine TDs while surrendering just one interception.

Reilly, the MVP of last year's Grey Cup game, has thrown for over 300 yards in all five of Edmonton's games this season. Reilly is currently the CFL's passing leader with 1,926 yards with 11 TDs and a 71 per cent completion average.
