The Saskatchewan Roughriders have received a call from the CFL for violating the league's National/International ratio on a play during a recent game, TSN Senior Correspondent Gary Lawless reports.

Lawless broke down the situation on Twitter on Twitter, explaining the league's ratio policy.

The Roughriders, playing in their first season under head coach and general manager Chris Jones, were not penalized by the league for the infraction.

The 1-4 Riders are currently last in the West Division and will take on the first place Calgary Stampeders on Thursday.
