{allcanada} Jays have sixth-best odds to win it all

The Toronto Blue Jays have the sixth-best odds to capture the 2016 World Series, according to one sportsbook.

Bodog has given Toronto 9/1 odds to win the championship after their pitching pickups at the non-waiver trade deadline. They had 18/1 odds on July 1.

The Chicago Cubs (7/2), San Francisco Giants (13/2), Texas Rangers (13/2), Cleveland Indians (15/2) and Washington National (15/2) are the only clubs with better odds than the Jays. The Boston Red Sox (12/1) and AL East-leading Baltimore Orioles (16/1) are right behind the Blue Jays at seventh and eighth respectively.

Toronto has 6/1 odds to win the American League pennant, third best in the league behind Cleveland and Texas.

Aaron Sanchez, the Jays' best pitcher this season, has the third best odds to win the AL Cy Young award. The 24-year-old is 11-1 with a 2.71 ERA and 118 strikeouts over 21 starts. However, Sanchez is likely headed to the bullpen at some point which would hurt his chances at winning the award.
