The Calgary Stampeders got to work on their 2016 CFL Draft class Tuesday, inking four of their selections, including first rounder Alex Singleton and second rounder Juwan Brescacin.
The Stampeders selected Singleton sixth overall. The linebacker was a three-year starter at Montana State and has also spent time with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings.
Brescacin was selected 15th overall after the wide receiver recorded 99 receptions for 1,467 yards and 13 touchdowns over four seasons at Northern Illinois.
The Stampeders also signed sixth-round DL Michael Kashak and eighth round OL Quinn Horton. Undrafted free agent DB Malcolm Brown was also signed.
