The St. Louis Blues want to be Canada's team.
The Blues posted a video to their website Friday, listing the reasons why Canada should jump aboard their bandwagon for the Western Conference Final and beyond. Among those reasons are the Blues having the most Canadian-born players on their roster than any of the four remaining playoff teams:
No Canadian teams reached the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 1970, the same year the Blues last reached the Stanley Cup Final. Based on comments from the website, it appears as if some fans of the seven Canadian teams are taking the Blues up on their offer.
Game 1 of the Western Conference Final is Sunday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).
