{allcanada} John McEnroe to help coach Milos Raonic at Wimbledon

It looks like Milos Raonic will have some help from a tennis legend at next month's Wimbledon tournament.

Appearing on the Eurosport show "The Commissioner" on Friday, seven-time major winner and current ESPN tennis analyst John McEnroe said that he is going to be a grass-court consultant to Raonic at Wimbledon, which begins next month.

"Milos Raonic can win majors. He's one of five or six guys that can win Wimbledon," McEnroe told Eurosport. "I'm excited to be part of his team." Raonic, 25, reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2014, losing in straight sets to runner-up Roger Federer.

While McEnroe, whose fiery temper and quick wit have made him a legend on both the tennis court and in the broadcast booth, has limited coaching experience, this is not the first time the 57-year-old has considered mentoring a current player. In 2014, the American said he'd be interested in coaching Andy Murray, but the two never got together.

Raonic, who is the eighth seed at Roland Garros, is currently being coached by 1998 French Open champion Carlos Moya and Riccardo Piatti.

He will face Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the fourth round of the French Open after beating 133rd-ranked Andrej Martin of Slovakia 7-6 (4), 6-2, 6-3 on Friday.
