Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis has taken another positive step in his recovery for shoulder surgery. The organization announced Wednesday that Travis will join the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons on Thursday.
The 25-year-old hit .357 with two doubles and five RBIs over four games with the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays.
Travis had surgery on his left shoulder last October during the Jays' playoff run.
He hit .304 with eight home runs and 35 RBIs over 62 games in 2015, his rookie campaign. Travis won the Rookie of the Month in April.
