TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays recalled infielder Matt Dominguez from the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday and optioned right-hander Drew Hutchison to the triple-A club.

Dominguez has a .311 average with two homers and 14 RBIs in 17 games for the Bisons this season.

Hutchison made a one-off start last weekend to give the Toronto rotation an extra day's rest.

He gave up two runs on four hits over 5 2/3 innings in a 6-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics.
