SARNIA, Ont. - Zachary Senyshyn scored twice and Brandon Halverson made 39 saves as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds beat the Sarnia Sting 5-2 on Sunday in Game 2 of their first round Ontario Hockey League playoff series.
The Greyhounds now lead the series 2-0.
Boris Katchouk, Tim Gettinger and Bobby MacIntyre supplied the rest of the offence for Sault Ste. Marie.
Anthony Salinitri and Matt Mistele, on the power play, replied for the Sting.
Charlie Graham took the loss after kicking out 18-of-22 shots in 40 minutes. Justin Fazio played the third period in relief and made two saves.
The Greyhounds were scoreless on five power plays while Sarnia went 1 for 3 with the man advantage.

PETES 5 BATTALION 3
NORTH BAY, Ont. — Hunter Garlent scored the first of three goals in the second period as Peterborough beat the Battalion to even its best-of-seven series at 1-1.
Jonathan Ang, on the power play, and Greg Betzold also found the back of the net in the second for the Petes. Steven Lorentz and Logan DeNoble had the others.
Mike Amadio and Steve Harland had power-play goals for North Bay, with Maurizio Colella opening the scoring.

OTTERS 7 SPIRIT 3
ERIE, Pa. — Dylan Strome and Alex DeBrincat had a goal and two assists apiece to lead the Otters over Saginaw in Game 2 of their best-of-seven series.
Kyle Maksimovich, Mitchell Byrne, Kyle Pettit, Taylor Raddysh and Patrick Fellows supplied the rest of the offence for Erie, which took at 2-0 series advantage.
Brady Gilmour, Connor Brown and Jesse Barwell scored for the Spirit.
