LONDON, Ont. - The London Knights scored twice in each period in a 6-1 rout of the rival Erie Otters on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Matthew Tkachuk and Aaron Berisha scored in the first period — with Berisha's power-play goal the eventual winner — to give London (44-13-3) an early 2-0 lead. Owen MacDonald and Christian Dvorak had goals in the second period while Max Jones and JJ Piccinich rounded out the attack in the third.

Tyler Parsons made 24 saves for the win.

Kyle Maksimovich's power-play goal late in the third period was the only goal for Erie (47-12-1). Devin Williams started in net, stopping 17-of-23 shots in 50:41 of work. Jake Lawr turned aside all four shots he faced in relief.

The Knights went 1 for 6 on the power play and the Otters were 1 for 4.

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Kevin Hancock struck twice to lead Owen sound past the Battalion.

Thomas Schemitsch and Jonah Gadjovich also scored for the Attack (29-21-10).

Maurizio Colella replied for North Bay (31-20-9).

PETES 7 BULLDOGS 4

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Hunter Garlent completed his hat trick with an empty-net goal to lead the Petes past Hamilton.

Kyle Jenkins scored and added two assists for Peterborough (29-26-6), while Logan DeNoble, Jonathan Ang and Steven Lorentz also found the back of the net.

Trent Fox, Brody Morris, Matthew Strome and MacKenzie Entwistle supplied the offence for the Bulldogs (22-32-8).

SARNIA, Ont. — Zachary Senyshyn had a pair of goals and set up another as Sault Ste. Marie skated past the Sting.

Blake Speers had a power-play goal for the Greyhounds (29-23-8), while Mac Hollowell and Gabe Guertler also scored.

Pavel Zacha did all the scoring for Sarnia (36-18-7).
