The Toronto Blue Jays arbitration hearing with MVP third baseman Josh Donaldson is set for Feb. 15, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, giving the two sides 10 days to agree on a multi-year deal.
If Donaldson and the Jays can't get a deal done by Feb. 15, then they will have to face an arbitrator for a second consecutive year.
The 30-year-old hit .297 with 41 home runs and 123 RBIs in the 2015 season, his first in Toronto. Donaldson won the American League MVP as the Blue Jays made the playoffs for the first time since 1993.
