It appears John Chick is headed for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Sources tell TSN's Gary Lawless and Matthew Scianitti the veteran defensive lineman is set to sign with the Tiger-Cats.

The 33-year-old Chick was released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders earlier this month.

Chick spent six seasons in Saskatchewan, winning the Grey Cup in 2007 and the Most Outstanding Defensive Player award in 2009 before playing in the NFL.

He returned to the Roughriders in 2013 and won his second Grey Cup with the team.
