The Ottawa Redblacks' leading receiver is returning to the nation's capital.
The team announced on Tuesday that Chris Williams had agreed to an extension.
Williams, 28, recorded 88 catches for 1,214 yards as the team reached its first Grey Cup in only its second year of existence. He also chipped in 338 yards on punt returns and another 82 on kickoffs.
The product of New Mexico State was one of four Redblacks receivers with 1,000-plus yards, alongside Greg Ellingson, Maurice Price and Brad Sinopoli. The club was only the third in Canadian Football League history to achieve the feat.
This is Williams's second stint in the CFL. Williams spent parts of two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he was an East Division All-Star and the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie in 2011. He came to the Redblacks last spring following a season in the National Football League with the Chicago Bears.
