ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Radim Vrbata scored twice and Ryan Miller made 30 saves to help the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 win against the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center on Wednesday.
Vrbata tied the game with a power-play goal late in the first period, then gave the Canucks the lead for good midway through the second.
Miller gave up a power-play goal to Thomas Vanek in the first period. Charlie Coyle scored with an extra attacker with 1:20 left.
Vancouver (9-8-6) got a third-period goal from Jannik Hansen. Daniel Sedin had two assists and Henrik Sedin extended his point streak to six games with an assist on Vrbata's second goal.
Minnesota (11-6-3) lost on home ice for the second time in 10 games.
Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk, who made his 18th start in 20 games, finished with 25 saves.
Vanek's power-play goal at 12:39 gave the Wild a 1-0 lead. Mikael Granlund made a nice play along the wall to gain control of the puck and passed it to Mikko Koivu, who found Vanek alone in the slot. Vanek put a shot over Miller's glove for his team-leading ninth goal of the season.
Vrbata took a drop pass from Jared McCann in the high slot and beat Dubnyk stick side at 19:32 of the first.
The Canucks took advantage of their first power play when Henrik Sedin's cross-rink pass deflected off a defenseman's skate in front of Dubnyk, who was caught out of position. Vrbata jumped on the loose puck and shot it between Dubnyk's glove and the post for his sixth at 11:15 of the second.
Early in the third, Jannik Hansen made it a two-goal game when he took Daniel Sedin's stretch pass in alone on Dubnyk and scored his seventh at 5:31.
Minnesota pulled Dubnyk with two minutes left and got within one when a shot by defenseman Ryan Suter was tipped in front by Coyle at 18:40.
Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler was whistled for hooking, giving Minnesota a power play with 32.4 seconds left, but the Wild could not tie the game.
