Ljubicic has coached Raonic since June 2013, helping the Canadian rise from No. 15 in the world to a career-best No. 4 this past May. During their time together Raonic won three ATP Tour titles and reached the final five other times.
The 24-year-old Raonic battled through foot and back injuries in 2015 that forced him to miss a number of tournaments, along with Canada's Davis Cup quarter-final tie against Belgium in July. Raonic, currently ranked No. 14, went 33-16 in 2015 with his lone title coming at the St. Petersburg Open in September.
Ljubicic retired from professional tennis in 2012 following a career that saw him reach as high as No. 3 in the ATP World Tour rankings. He also helped Croatia win the Davis Cup in 2005.
