Andreas Athanasiou and Anthony Mantha each had a goal and an assist for the Detroit Red Wings against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.
Athanasiou and Mantha scored less than six minutes apart in the second period for Detroit, which finished the preseason 6-0-2.
Brad Boyes, who signed this week after attending camp on a pro tryout, scored 22 seconds into the third period for Toronto (3-5-0).
Petr Mrazek made 28 saves for the Red Wings; Jonathan Bernier made 13 for the Maple Leafs.
The teams did not score during a 3-on-3 overtime.
Detroit defeated Toronto 4-2 on Friday, and they play at Joe Louis Arena on Oct. 9 in the Red Wings' regular-season opener.
The Maple Leafs start the season Oct. 7 at home against the Canadiens.
