Free agent Canadian linebacker Henoc Muamba reportedly continued his CFL tour with the BC Lions on Monday, according to Winnipeg Free Press reporter Gary Lawless.
Muamba, who moved to Canada at a young age and went to school at St. Francis Xavier University, was selected by the Blue Bombers with the first overall pick in the 2011 CFL Draft.
The 26-year-old native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo played three seasons in Winnipeg from 2011-2013, recording 171 tackles, four sacks and one interception. Muamba was named a CFL East Division All-Star in 2013.
He played the 2014-15 season with the Indianapolis Colts, making six tackles over 13 games. The Colts released Muamba earlier this month.
