QUEBEC CITY, Que. - Jean-Christophe Beaudin's second goal of the game came 32 seconds into overtime as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies edged the host Quebec Remparts 6-5 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Julien Nantel, Martins Dzierkals, Francis Perron and Philippe Myers also scored for the Huskies (3-1-1), who got a 23-save outing from Samuel Harvey.
Auguste Impose forced extra time when he scored at 19:59 of the third period for the Remparts (2-2-1).
Dmytro Timashov scored once and set up two more for Quebec while Raphael Maheux, Ross MacDougall and Massimo Carozza added the others. Callum Booth stopped 29-of-35 shots in a losing cause.
Rouyn-Noranda went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Remparts scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
