The Edmonton Oilers and defenseman Oscar Klefbom have agreed to terms on a seven-year contract, TSN reported Saturday. The contract is expected to have an average annual value above $4 million.
Klefbom, 22, had two goals and 18 assists in 60 games for the Oilers last season and one goal and seven assists for Oklahoma City in the American Hockey League.
A first-round pick by the Oilers (No. 19) at the 2011 NHL Draft, Klefbom has three goals and 20 assists in 77 NHL games.
