The 104th Grey Cup is coming to Toronto.

The CFL is holding a news conference on Thursday (1pm et/10am pt on TSN3), where it will be announced that the newly-renovated home of the Argonauts at BMO Field will host the league's championship game on Nov. 27, 2016.

Toronto last hosted the Grey Cup in its centennial game in 2012.

The announcement comes four months after it was revealed that Bell and MLSE chairman Larry Tanenbaum are buying the team and taking over operations effective Jan. 1.

MLSE is already undergoing a major renovation at BMO Field, expanding the seating by 8,000 and adding roofing to three sides of the stadium. The Argonauts are expected to move there in time for the start of next season.

Toronto has hosted 16 Grey Cup games over the last 50 years - four at the SkyDome/Rogers Centre and 12 at Exhibition Stadium.
