LONDON — One of the young guns in men's tennis knocked out one of the game's veterans at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
Seventh-seeded Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., defeated Tommy Haas 6-0, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (4) on Court No. 1 to advance to the third round.
The 24-year-old Raonic reached the semifinals at the All England Club last year.
The 37-year-old Haas on Monday became the oldest man to win a match at Wimbledon since Jimmy Connors in 1991.
