The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed defenceman Matt Hunwick to a two-year, $2.4 million deal.
In 55 games with the Rangers last season, the 30-year-old defenceman had two goals and nine assists
Nazem Kadri, Richard Panik and Martin Marincin have also all been tendered qualifying offers by the club.
In 73 games last season, Kadri scored 18 goals and added 21 assists.
Panik played in 76 games for the Leafs last season, his first with the team, and produced 17 points, including 11 goals.
Marincin spent last season with the Oilers and was acquired by the Leafs for Brad Ross and a fourth-round draft pick. The 23-year-old Marincin played 41 games for the Oilers last year, collecting one goal and five points.
