CARSON, Calif. - Robbie Keane scored a hat trick as the LA Galaxy shutout Toronto FC 4-0 on Saturday.

Sebastian Lletget rounded out the attack in stoppage time for the Galaxy (8-6-7).

Keane opened the scoring in the ninth minute on a penalty kick. The striker would add another before the first half finished, finding the back of the net in the 41st minute.

Keane struck again in the 59th minute to cap an impressive performance.

TFC (7-7-2) only managed to get three shots on Los Angeles goalkeeper Brian Rowe.

Toronto's Chris Konopka faced seven shots and made three saves.

Sebastian Giovinco managed five shots for TFC — two on goal — but could not beat Rowe.
