Wimbledon, the purveyors of all things good taste, is infamous for enforcing its strict, colorless dress codes, like in 2013 when it banned Roger Federer from wearing tennis shoes with an orange sole. (Something I still contend was a brilliant marketing ploy by Nike.) But the All England Club took it to new levels on Tuesday when 2014 finalist Genie Bouchard was assessed a dress-code violation for wearing a black sports bra underneath her white sports bra.

There it is. That's it. Barely a centimeter of mis-aligned straps. What, did the chair umpire give her a TSA inspection before the match? But, hey, you come to Wimbledon, you follow Wimbledon's rules. Frankly, Bouchard's lucky she didn't get thrown in the Tower of London for such a major infraction.
