Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joakim Lindstrom won't be returning to the NHL next season.
According to a report from Swedish outlet hockeysverige.se, the pending unrestricted free agent will join SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL.
The 31-year-old Skelleftea, Sweden native had four points in 19 games with the Maple Leafs after being acquired at the trade deadline along with a conditional sixth-round pick from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Olli Jokinen.
Lindstrom is one of seven pending UFAs currently on the Maple Leafs roster.
