Get Paid To Work From Home / Brad Pitt / Britney Spears / Colin Farrell TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays optioned left-hander Daniel Norris to the Buffalo Bisons on Friday and selected the contract of Canadian southpaw Andrew Albers from the triple-A club. The move was made one day after Norris lasted only three innings in a 5-1 victory in Cleveland. The 22-year-old rookie was 1-1 with a 3.83 earned-run average in five starts this season. Albers has a 1-3 record and a 3.09 ERA over four starts for Buffalo this season. The 29-year-old native of North Battleford, Sask., is set to become the 24th Canadian-born player to appear for the Blue Jays and the fifth this season (Jeff Francis, Russell Martin, Dalton Pompey, Michael Saunders). To make room on the 40-man roster, the Blue Jays transferred infielder Maicer Izturis to the 60-day disabled list. Dale Earnhardt Jr / Daytime Soap Operas
