Season series: The Minnesota Wild have earned at least one point in all four games against the Winnipeg Jets (2-0-2). Each game at Xcel Energy Center has gone to overtime, with the Wild and Jets each winning once. Wild forward Jason Pominville leads all scorers with seven points (2-5-7), and has 32 points in 36 career games against the Jets.

Jets team scope: With a win in regulation, Winnipeg will move within two points of Minnesota for the first wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference. The Jets activated defenseman Ben Chiarot off injured reserve Sunday. Chiarot, who has eight points in 36 games, has been out since Feb. 21 with a hand injury. "He'll go in [Monday] the same way he came in last time, he's not coming in at six or seven minutes, he's going to go in and play big minutes," coach Paul Maurice said in video posted by the Jets website. "He's had full time to recover and he's had full practice time." Defenseman Tobias Enstrom is day-to-day with an upper-body injury after taking a hit late in a 5-4 win against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. Goaltender Ondrej Pavelec is likely to start. Pavelec is 2-2-1 with a 2.55 goals-against average and .920 save percentage in seven career starts against the Wild.

Wild team scope: Minnesota can secure a berth in the playoffs with a regulation victory. Captain Mikko Koivu did not play in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday but coach Mike Yeo said he should be fine by Monday. Forward Erik Haula was benched in the third period against Detroit, but Yeo indicated Haula will play. With Haula in the lineup, expect the more physical Ryan Carter to play on the fourth line and the more skilled Jordan Schroeder to be scratched. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk will make his 37th consecutive start. The Wild, who have lost two consecutive games, have not lost three in a row since acquiring Dubnyk in a trade on Jan. 14.
