Season series: Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price is 3-0-0 against the Toronto Maple Leafs and has stopped 82 of the 86 shots he has faced; he has a 1.30 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage. Montreal center Tomas Plekanec has three goals and one assist. The Canadiens have not swept a season series against Toronto since 1995-96, when they went 2-0-0.

Canadiens team scope: Montreal coach Michel Therrien said Friday that Price will make his 66th start when he takes the ice for the final regular-season game for each team. The Canadiens (108 points) will clinch the Atlantic Division title by getting at least one point against the Maple Leafs or if the second-place Tampa Bay Lightning lose in any fashion to the Boston Bruins on Saturday. Price will have an opportunity to add one more win to the team record of 43 he set Thursday. "This is going to be his third game, I believe, in nine days so it's not demanding as much as back-to-back," Therrien said after practice Friday. "So we're going to have four days between the last game and then we're going to start the playoffs. We take everything in consideration and there's a purpose about playing in Toronto, so that's the decision."

Maple Leafs team scope: Goalie Jonathan Bernier will start against Montreal. "I want this to be our playoffs," Maple Leafs coach Peter Horachek told the Toronto Star. Bernier is eligible to become a restricted free agent this summer, and whether the 26-year-old native of Laval, Quebec. stays in Toronto, it is widely expected there will be significant changes to the Maple Leafs' roster during the offseason. "It's going to be tough [after the game]," Bernier told the Star. "Overall, we've got a great group of guys and we want to do it for each other." Forward Colton Orr was recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on Thursday, and Horachek will have him in the lineup. "Colton is an honest guy that is going to play up and down," Horachek told the Star. "We're going to play the game hard. We want to win the game and he brings character into the room and leadership."
